Janine Webber came to Bristol as part of the Holocaust Educational Trust’s ‘Survivor Stories’ programme. She addressed a packed auditorium at City Academy in Lawrence Hill. Students and teachers from Bristol Cathedral Choir School and Bristol Metropolitan Academy also attended.
Janine share the testimony of her childhood in Lvov, Ukraine and the things she and her family experienced as Jews when the Nazi regime moved in, the ghetto was established, and her journey to eventual freedom.
